Making strawberry jam each year is one of my favorite traditions. I'm not a huge fan of the process - especially the endlessly sticky kitchen - yet the result is well worth it! I have branched out and added apricot, blackberry and plum to my repertoire, but there's just something about the strawberry. My husband procured three flats of gorgeous, organic berries (they were so fresh, I made it through about a flat and a half without finding a squishy one) for me, so I made a TON of jam. Want to try it? Leave me a comment by Friday and I will randomly choose 3 people to receive a pint from my reserves (I don't get a lot of comments, so your chances are really good!).
Hi Michele, What a nice website you have. Everything looks great. And, pick me....the second person might have a shot. So far the odds are good. Your jam is the best! Cindy M.
Mmmm jams. counting myself out of the running - can't have two from the same household (I'm sure that is in THE RULES in very tiny font). So, can your jams be purchased?
I just stumbled on your blog. I've never blogged or been a "follower" I've actualy just recently become somewhat obsessed with blogs, what wonderful tips and projects and ideas people come up with! Anywho I was wondering if you'd mind sharing your strawberry jam recipe. (((I also was drawn to it because the date you made this post is my wedding anniversary)))
I love your blog and would love to try your jam. I've been a jam-head since childhood and have never turned my back on the sweet goodness. For me strawberry is THE jam and all others may be nice but don't hole a candle.
Thanks for such an inspiring blog. I'm going to try the strawberry milk! Have you tried freezer jam? You have to have space in the freezer but it is to die for!!! Like eating a fresh strawberry! :) Jody
Pick me!! Of course the first person never wins however.
